Belly Pics Week 27

I had my last doctor's appointment in my second trimester on Friday. So, Thursday is the start of my third trimester. The doctor said her heartbeat is 150, and I am measuring great.  I have gained 25 lbs so far and the baby should be around 2 & 1/2 lbs by now.  Let's just hope I pass my glucose test.  I have to get a shot this coming week because I am Rh negative.  I am feeling okay, just tired because I am waking up more at night.  Baby Flach is definitely more active now.  She is throwing kicks and tumbling around all the time especially right before I try to go to sleep.  The nursery is also coming along.  We just bought a nice white dresser/change table for her with cute crystal knobs to go with our white Jenny Lind style crib.

Belly Pics Week 23

So I have decided to post a few of my belly pics to show how big I have gotten so far, since some people want to see.  This is at 23 weeks.


Had my doctor appointment yesterday.  Doctor says the everything looks good.

It's a Girl!!

We are very excited to share: we are having a baby girl March 9th! This is our first child. We had our 20 week ultrasound at the end of October, which we saw our little baby moving around quite a bit. When the doctor told us what we were having a girl, I started crying and Adam had a huge smile on his face. Actually I think I started tearing up when the baby came on the ultrasound. Amazing what we can see. She is a little less than a pound and 8 inches long. (I think she will be tall.)

That Saturday we met both of our parents in Bloomington, IL (as they put it - where it all started - where Adam and I met) to tell them the news bringing them a gift wrapped in blue, but wearing pink under our coats. When they opened the gift and card, they were shocked, thinking that we would be having a boy. They are so excited and happy to hear the news!
