Photo Friday!

Well, we finally hired a painter to paint some of our rooms in our new house; family room, kitchen/dining room, and Ellie's room. I am sharing pics of the family and kitchen/dining rooms. Once we have Ellie's room put together, I will share that one too. Although we have some decorating to do, the colors add a dramatic difference to all the rooms. I will say I didn't choose pink for Ellie's room like I had said in the beginning maybe because except for her furniture a lot of her stuff is pink already. The first photos are before photos.  I also had to put a couple pics of Ellie in this post. :)

Ellie's 10 months!

2013 and our little girl is getting so much closer to her first birthday! Wow, 10 months old now!
Ellie
• is eating more finger food and even likes some veggies like zucchini and broccoli and sometimes carrots. Also like avocado, cheese, and scrambled eggs. Apples are still her favorite.
• is crawling everywhere and fast. Also crawling upstairs.
• is pulling on everything stable and walking/almost running when we hold her hands.
• is clapping and waving but only randomly
• says a lot of babble but some mamas and dadas in there.
• is looking and listening to books is still her favorite activity.
• is starting to wiggle to music but only a couple times.
• thinks Ambra is a jungle gym and climbs and follows her several times a day.

Merry Christmas!

Finally I am getting around to post some more pics of Ellie and update how she is doing.  I've been sick with the flu since Christmas. (Guess I was on Santa's naughty list) Ellie, however, did very well this Christmas and received tons of toys and clothes from family and friends.  Can't believe she will be 10 months in 10 days.

Ellie is...

• crawling fast
• using her new push toys to get around
• eating a lot more, some faves: deli turkey meat, shredded cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, apples, puffs of course, strawberries, bananas, spinach pouches, oatmeal, and sometimes broccoli.
• I swear she said her first word 'Amba' (Ambra/dog) - she has only said it two times, but we think she knows what she is saying.
• loves to walk around the house holding your hands
• crawls around and on top of Ambra - Ambra isn't sure how to play that game :)
• still nursing, but gets so distracted - it's hard to keep up with her.
• could be getting another tooth with all the drool and fussiness, but haven't seen it yet (has 7 teeth so far)
• imitating and laughing a lot more. She seems to be amused at the littlest things
• still in love with books especially the "Where is Ellie?", "Belly Button Book", Sesame Street books; "At the Zoo" & "Bubbles, Bubbles"and her new book "Moo, Baa, LaLaLa"
