Ellie's 9 month Checkup and some photos
We had Ellie's 9 month checkup a few days ago, and she is looking good. She is 30 inches just an inch behind her daddy and two inches ahead of me (I finally found my baby book). She weighs 17 lbs 15 oz (lean and long).
Haven't had good lighting for month by month photos in her room because of rain and cloudy days so I am posting a couple of the Christmas/9 month photos, but not all of them since we are using some of them for our Christmas card.

Ellie is...
- officially crawling (a few days ago), but still army crawls when going farther distances.
- pulling up on things and walking when you hold both of her hands.
- starting to eat finger foods (loves her puffs the most) like bananas, apples, fish, chicken, cheese, cooked carrots, cheerios, etc.
- making a 'dislike' or 'stinky' face - will have to get a photo of that :)
- laughing at her books more and Ambra which almost sounds like a fake laugh.
- babbling more.
- more interactive with her toys.
- loves banging her toys on hard surfaces or dropping things from her highchair.

Photo Friday
Here are a few pics of Ellie this week. We finally have decorations on the tree, but that is all we have in our living room.

Ellie's 8 months!
Wow, time is flying and Ellie's growing fast! Don't really know her weight and height but she definitely feels heavier.
Ellie...
• still loves her jumpy entertainer.
• tugs on Ambra a lot more.
• started eating puffs
• army crawls everywhere and can get from sitting up to her tummy.
• babbles up a storm even with a baba sound that sounds like Colton's word for pacifier. I think he taught her that.
• loves books and her leapfrog table.
It won't be long until she is crawling and pulling up.

Halloween
Trying to catch up on blogging since I have a minute or two. For Halloween Ellie got dressed up as a ladybug and went to Colton's (the shark) house for some pics. Surprisingly, Ellie didn't mind her costume and looked pretty cute as a little bug.
Our Last Night Out in the City!
On my birthday, oct 20th, we went out with friends to celebrate both my birthday and leaving the Chi. It was a great night! Jess graciously offered to watch Ellie while Adam and I met up with our friends who live in the city. As usual, we finished our night at sidestreet bar, and it was packed. Although we love our new house, really miss the restaurants and nightlife with friends and family. I'm sure we will be back soon.

The New House
We have been in our new house for a little over two weeks. We love it, and Ambra is so happy to have a nice fenced-in yard to run In. Moving from an apartment to a house is quite a step up but then you realize there is so much stuff you have to get. The never ending to-do list. Right now our front living room is like a little storage and catchall room. Our basement is pretty empty. Guess we should take back our storage stuff from our families' basements.
We have had some visitors; nana, papa, Keegan, aunt Jess, uncle Ryan, aunt Aristene, Colton, and uncle Jeff. We also had my friends Sara and Michelle over and Sara's son Jameson. Also this past weekend adam's parents (Grammy & papa pat) stayed as our first house guests. There will be more pictures of the house to come.
