We went to Uncle Ryan, Aunt Aristene, & Cousin Colton's for Ellie's 3 month photo-shoot. We tried our best to get her to smile, but she ended up taking a nap.  So happy there's a photographer in the family :)  The last pic is of me when I was three months. Do you see a resemblance?

Father's Day in Roscoe Village

For Father's Day, we stayed around our neighborhood, Roscoe Village. Ellie took daddy out for brunch to John's Place restaurant. Later she and Ambra hosted a picnic in the park. What a beautiful day to be outside!

Father's Day and Graduation Party at the lake house

We celebrated my cousin Kris' high school graduation Saturday along with Father's Day at my parent's lake house.

Ellie's 3 months!

Another month has flown by. It is amazing how different Ellie is from last month. Ellie has shown more of her personality and is pretty strong. She loves to look at some of her toys especially the ones with faces; like Ernie the elephant and Betsy the butterfly. Ellie talks, coos, and laughs a lot now. She really has found her voice. She is pretty good about going to sleep in her crib since she is no longer sleeping in her bassinet. She goes to sleep between 9 and 10 pm and getting up once or twice a night to eat. She is rolling over from back to tummy constantly so she ends up sleeping on her tummy at night. Ellie holds her head up like a pro now. We go to the doc again next month, so I'm guessing she is around 12 lbs and 25 1/2 or 26 in. Here is Ellie at 3 months!
