Apple orchard

This past Saturday we finally went apple picking. We met up with our friends, Laura and Chris (and few others), who live in the city, at an apple orchard near Munster, Indiana. Adam and I went there a couple years ago and ate at 3 Floyd's brewery with them and we have been trying to make it a tradition.  With Ellie being a toddler, it would have been pretty tough for her to wait for an hour for a table at the brewery, so we just stuck to what the orchard had to offer. Ellie got to meet the farm animals, ride mini tractors, and pick apples. It was a great time had by all, but went by fast. 

Labor Day Weekend

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend.  Grammy and papa pat came up for another visit. Ellie had a great time especially when they gave her lots of wagon rides. 

Cheeseburger in paradise party

Two weekends ago we went to my parent's lakehouse for a cheeseburger in paradise. We had a blast and the burgers were good as well as the burger cupcakes. Ellie loved playing with the kids and the pool.
