6 Month Photoshoot

Again these pics, like the 3 month ones, were done by Uncle Ryan and Aunt Aristene. They're a great photography team :) The pictures really turned out beautiful!! Thanks so much! Colton even got a pic.

 

Ellie's 6 Month Checkup

Ellie had her 6 month checkup this past week. Again she is in the 99 percentile for length at 28 1/4 inches long. She weighs 15 lbs 13 oz which is around 40-50 percentile. Taking after her daddy tall and lean ;)
So Ellie at 6 months:

• Moving a lot - She does the army crawl especially to new objects that look interesting to her (i.e. the remote)
• Sitting up - Ellie can sit up on her own for a good while but still needs pillows behind her because she does fall once in a while.
• 4 teeth!! - Ellie is getting her forth tooth, 2 on the bottom and 2 not front teeth on the top. Hopefully those front teeth will come in soon.
• Knows to look when she hears her name -  She looks at you when you call her name.
• Eating so much more - She eats twice a day; baby oatmeal cereal and fruit in the morning and a veggie for dinner. Really likes squash, carrots, apples, pears, and prunes.
• Sleeps through the night - Ellie goes to sleep between 7:30-8 and doesn't usually get up until 6-7 occasionally she will wake for one midnight snack.

Ellie loves:

• playing with her musical dog and leap frog table which we have on the floor. 
• still likes her swing
• watching Ambra play with her toys
• when we sing the ABC song
• walks in her stroller or carrier forward facing
• swinging at the park
• books like belly button book and Mr. Seahorse book
• Sandy the seahorse
• bright colors especially orange.
• sitting in her highchair
• looking in the mirror
• people making silly faces or noises
• kisses

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Eloise!

She was so happy while taking pictures that I had to post them all. One of them was photobombed by her giraffe. Can't believe she is 6 months old! Growing up so fast!

Happy 2nd Birthday Colton!

We celebrated Colton's 2nd birthday at his clubhouse with Mickey flare. Check out the Mickey ears! Colton got lots of great gifts one which was a huge red fire truck. Ellie had to test it out too. We had a great time!
